What is 'miyacestfest'?
A Prompt Meme! For more information, please view the AO3 Prompt Meme FAQ.In short, people submit prompts that others can claim and fulfill.The theme of miyacestfest, as obvious from the name, will be the relationship between Miya Atsumu and Miya Osamu from Haikyuu. This includes any sexual/romantic relationship between the twins—that's where the 'cest' part comes from after all.Finally, this is a safe and welcoming space, no harassment of any kind will be tolerated.
Who can participate?
So long as you are an adult (18+), you can participate.There are a variety of ways you can contribute to miyacestfest: as a prompt submitter, content creator, content consumer, or a mix of the above.
Is there any banned content?
Everything goes, as long as it's all properly tagged. Go wild, go feral!Prompters may request certain content (e.g. no major character death, top [Atsumu/Osamu] only). When claiming one of these prompts, please adhere to these requests.
Submitting prompts
Prompt submissions will remain open throughout the entire duration of the event.To submit a prompt, please head to the Prompt Form.A variety of fields are available for you to fill out (Relationships, Additional Tags, Categories, Rating, Archive Warnings, Description) however none of these are required. Just fill in whatever is applicable to your prompt.Anything is allowed for this fest, feel free to also list anything you would like the creator to exclude or include (e.g. no major character death, happy ending please, top [Atsumu/Osamu] only).By default, prompts have been set to be anonymous. If you would like to reveal yourself in your prompt, untick the 'Semi-anonymous Prompt?' box.If you need to edit your prompts after submitting them, you can do so under 'My Prompts' and then 'Edit Sign-up'.Examples of prompts have been provided below.
Claiming prompts/Signing up
Sign-ups will be open for a month initially, and then for a month after each reveal.You are allowed to claim three (3) prompts at any one time. If you want to claim more, you can do so during the next claiming period once you've posted your work for the previous ones.Please do not claim any prompts if claims aren't open. You can check if claims are open by checking if the Claims Form is accepting responses. Any claims made outside the claiming periods will be deleted.Additionally, each prompt can only be claimed once. If you see that someone has already claimed a prompt, please do not claim it yourself. Your claim will be deleted otherwise.Once you have made your claims, please fill out the Google Form linked above with your details as well as the prompts you have claimed. You must fill out this form to confirm your participation, as well as so we can verify that you are 18 years old or above.Anyone who does not fill out the form by the end of the claiming period will have their claims deleted. If anyone is found to be underage, their claims will also be deleted and they will be banned from the event.You will receive an email confirmation from us (not a copy of your Google Form response) once we've gone over your sign-up, after which you are welcome to begin on your piece.You can also drop any prompts you have claimed at any time.
Creating for your prompt
There are no minimum requirements that your work must meet. Create to your heart's desire!Just make sure to follow your prompt, particularly if the prompter has requested the inclusion/exclusion of specific content.
Posting/reveals
Reveals will happen every three (3) months. This is so people who have faster turnaround times can post sooner, and those who'd like more time to work on their piece can do so.The dates of each reveal are: May 15, August 7, October 30.There is no expectation for you to be done by a particular date. Once you have finished your work and it's ready to post, just submit it to the collection (by selecting 'Fulfill' on your claim) and it will then be revealed on the next Reveals Date.Don't forget to go into your work settings and move the posting date to the current date after it has been revealed so it will show up on the home page!After October 30, the collection will remain open as a free-for-all prompt bank. Prompts can be claimed whenever, and works can be posted at any time.You will not have to fill in any forms or anything to confirm your claims after this date.More information here.
